The NFL Combine is under way in Indianapolis, and if you have like to watch strapping young men run in a straight line over and over again, then you are in luck! The biggest story of the first day was the beserk speed of Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, who ran a 4.38. Just try imagining BC having a quarterback on the roster with that type of speed. **salivates**
Today the wide receivers, running backs and quarterbacks ran, and as we all know there are no Boston College players at the combine in any of those positions.
However, Luke Kuechly who could be the top linebacker to be drafted, pssh Alabama linebackers, held a press conference to talk about his draft prospects. There were lots of usual inane media questions, like how do you pronounce your name? Keek-ly, duh. Guess that's what happens when you are a superstar on a nationally irrelevant team. Can't blame the media there.
However one of the revelations he made was that he has been talking to Mark Herzlich about playing in Philadelphia. That would be quite the rivalry there. Philadelphia and the Giants. Herzlich vs Kuechly. Even I would tune in for that.
Kuechly is scheduled to work out tomorrow, so if you have NFL Network make sure you check out his performance. Below is the video from part of his press conference.
