Has Jerry York really accumulated 400 wins in just 15 years? The math couldn’t get much more impressive. In the 14 full seasons since York hit the 500 milestone, he’s averaged 26.5 wins a year. If you throw out his 18-win seasons following the 2001 and 2008 national championships, that average goes up to 28.75. Other than those two years when the celebratory losses to the pros were near-insurmountable, his worst season has included 24 wins.
Read that again. A worst season of 24 wins.

The Possible 2012 National Title:
This is one all Eagle Nation wants this one very badly.
If we win this year it would be :
4 in 14 years of NCAA play – BC got to this Championship level. 2001-2008-2010-2012
4 in the last 12. This is in Tournament play where the 16th seed is very tough!
3 in the last 5 years. 2008-2010-2012 = DYNASTY!
10 Frozen Fours in 14 years. Now 3-4-2 would be 4-4-2 = DYNASTY!
also 4 Frozen Fours in a row 1998-1999-2000-2001
Just winning the first two games with all the upsets in Hockey with bouncing pucks and caroms and a hot Goalie in the past 10 years makes this streak simply…
JERRY YORKTOWN.
PS
Do you think Jerry York can ever live up to the high standards set by GDF that Spazoo was the best Coach we have had at BC in 16 years?
Maybe if Jerry wins his 5th National Title and 4th at BC, he too can walk down the halls of Yawkey and maybe sit down with both Gene and Spazoo and get more tips on how to keep it rolling!
Just keeping it real for you kids.
