We're the King of the Northeast in Reddit's college football map.

Though, the first few comments are not kind toward BC.

The only states they get right on this map are Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Hawaii.

Rhode Island is not UConn territory. #fail

As far as comments go...

Insults are just another form of reverse flattery. At least people are talking about us.

Also, I have family in Vermont, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. They root for BC. Ergo, BC is the New England team.

I am not an Orange!!

Shame on you!

But, thanks to having the best Coach in now 16 years, BC Fans can smell the oranges…meaning the Orange Bowl!

Disgustiad!

They put App State on the map

Now that, is awesome. My Father would be quite proud of his alma mater. Though it appears that whomever drew this map just colored the whole state of South Carolina red. That would be highly in correct. No one admits they like that pizza delivery technical university unless they aren’t smart enough to go anywhere else.

The addition of the I-AA schools is very random. I get for states like Montana which doesn’t have a I-A program but Appalachian State?

No love for Navy?

And both North and South Dakota root for North Dakota State? Huh?

Yeah looks like there were some bias that played a part in some of the states

And some of the actual schools are misrepresented by geography (GT for instance). But Appalachian State’s inclusion doesn’t hurt me too much. They have a massive following here in the NC foothills (ask GT blogger orientalnc) and when the D-1AA championship was played in Chattanooga if ASU was there you couldn’t move in that town.

I like it, I see the inherited bias in the map, but this was most certainly done for fun, so I see no major issues with it.
