THE LAST DAYS OF SPAZOO ARE NEAR!

Again, I may have been 1 year early with scores and scores of posts on the defunct and dead Eagle Insider, but the angry alum handwriting is now in ink on the Towers walls. Maybe even carved in stone?

I was right about the word being out about BC recruiting and Spazoo being Clownshoes in September and we have witnessed the very low end, 11th out of 12 ACC ranked classes, and 63rd out of 68 BCS conference schools, and all the rest discussed here.

What was disturbing was the calls from HS Football star's parents in the beginning of the 2011 season with regards to the Kevin Rogers fiasco and Spazoo which I posted when I went for a September road trip and heard the deal!

When our little GDF Napoleon ignored most calls back then about will Spazoo be there, I figured Spazoo was a dead duck with the horrible start, (as predicted before the season and even before the Duke game), and I went with my gut projections which were again all wrong, but with all the great Coaches who switched and were hired this year, wow did BC and GDF screw the Eagle Aerie pooch!

I also posted about BC donors in general and the "In Like Flynn Fund" check writers that had stopped sending in large sums and some of these irate alums were ticked not only with the football team's performance, but with the overall image and persona of Spazoo and the Rogers deal and the whole high profile BC image presented by this mumbling clown!

To make a long very boring post end, I think that barring a miracle comeback season, Frank Spaziani will be paid off and sent packing. Hopefully a nuclear enema and entire staff purge since this CFA Football is a tens of millions of dollars revenue stream and Spazoo and crew are bad for business.

I just can't see the BC Money Trolley being stopped like it has and that not having a huge impact with the "Sleepers" that run BC, or Leahy and the lazy Trustees.

As I posted a few weeks ago, do not be surprised if the mastermind of this cluster fubar disaster GDF, the self-appointed BC Hall of Famer, is not forced out or the usual "seeking new life challenges crap" to make him save face.

I hope it's this June so a new AD can nuclear flush these losers out of Yawkey and GDF has nothing to do with the new hire like in 2008! Even if still there, GDF may be told to sit this one out!

In any event, this season will be very challenging and with BC's lack of team speed and skilled position talent and the coaching staff changes and their shortcomings....only a perfect gameplan storm and slow down strategy can hope to muster over 7 wins, but our new offensive coordinator is bringing the Spread Offense?

I got nuthin' left but a future season record prediction.

I am so glad the Spazoo presser spent all that time about the 6 guys we have playing in the Super Bowl.

How embarrassing and pathetic was that for some parent to listen and wait to hear how their son worked from Pee Wee Pop Warner to HS for 9 years pumping iron and working, to hear about former players rankings?

Just incredible!

Make no mistake, we all want a 14-0 season and the Glass Crystal Football, but do you see that happening with 3 years of a 1-11 performance versus TOP 25 AP season ending ranked teams?

BC and UMass can have a budding in-state rivalry on the gridiron. The games will probably be competitive too. – Negnan

I haven’t given up on Spaz yet, however, I believe that he has to come through this year or it’s time to say Adios Spaz! I believe that he needs to come through with 8 wins this year, and if not, then he should be given his walking papers. The continuous change in Offensive coordinators is disconcerting. I wished that Rogers stayed on, but then after he left, I started to get comfortable with Brock. With all these changes, Spaz better be sure that Martin is going to be an improvement as it seems unfair to the players with this carousel of assistant coaches. However, I can only think that Bollman coming in for the Offensive Line is a much needed improvement as the OL position has been under-achieving the last few years. I believe that last years team was probably the youngest BC football team ever and with everyone having added experience, I’m expecting good things from them this year.

We all hope we win 8 or more!!

BC had 17 returning starters last year.
BC has 19 returning starters this year.

We were never fragile, young or inexperienced.

Just some stats.

Well, we were fragile … injury bug hit BC hard this year. Still, no excuse for 4-8.

That may be true, however, we have a lot more coming back on the two-deep this year. In addition to the injuries (which sometimes occur anyways), two starting defensive backs left the program (one being kicked off and the other having left voluntarily). Both of these players had been recruited by the previous regime, so I’ll give Spaz a pass on those and give him the benefit of doubt. I know that I’m supporting Spaz more than most fans, but like I said, if he doesn’t pull out 8 victories this year, then I’ll join the remove Spaz bandwagon.

I don’t think Spaz gets a complete pass on the non-disciplinary transfers. Spaz was part of the staff that recruited those players and the HC has at least some responsibility in keeping kids in the program.

Come On Man! Brian!!!

Spazoo said wait 4 or 5 years with the new kids!!

Brian, you are such a NEGNAN with Jane, AJ and the rest!!!

Shhhhh….. Spazoo was under the spell of Jags and had nothing to do with recruiting back then…..

er…..just like now…..

63rd out 68 BCS teams in recruiting class rankings…. BUT of course, we got who we wanted!!!!

Ruby Slippers Anyone????
