1-0 BC
Great goal by Quinn Smith. First of his collegiate career.
Also a great effort by Dumoulin on the rush.

BC’s penalty killing unit has been looking exceptional the past few games. Vermont hasn’t gotten much of a chance to score on either.

I am enjoying this broadcast. Thank you NBC for having the balls to show college hockey, even if it is on a minor channel

Mike Milbury is a pretty big name. Props to NBCSN for getting a solid analyst.

By the way, 2 kids to look out for in bball recruiting
2 kids out of the Hockomock league in Massachusetts, ‘13 Aaron Calixte of Stoughton High School and ’14 Brian Mukasa of Sharon High School. I’m not saying BC will go after them, but they might be decent mid-major prospects in a few years.

Can either of them carry a football? If so see Spaz, I hear he has a bunch of scholarships just sitting around collecting dust.

Calixte & Football
Calixte is indeed a stud on the grid-iron too. He was been to a few Nike camps and is considered one of the better corner backs in all of Eastern Mass

Brian Mukasa + Aaron Calixte
I am familiar with both prospects and they are BOTH more than mid-major prospects. Mukasa, sophmore, already has interest from URI and Northeastern. Calixte, jr, has offers already from Townson and Quinnipiac.. Ea. player looks like they are going prep so that is 2 more years for Calixte and THREE YRS for Mukasa. Unless BC turns their program around quick and is able to reach sustainable success they will not be in the running for these two prospects

Eval on Mukasa and Calixte
Mukasa is an excellent lefty lead guard with an IQ that’s off the charts for his age (he just turned 15 in aug). He thrives of being a facilitator on talented teams, but has a pure jumpshot which keeps the defense honest. He is good at attacking the gaps and finding the open man or stopping on a dime for his patented mid range game (which is a lost art in bball at ALL levels).
Calixte is more of a scoring guard who is in the transition to becoming a better playmaker. He recently scored his 1,000th point. He is tenacious on D and keeps the defense honest with his ability to score.
Both are excellent leaders and have the intangibles to be GREAT point guards down the road.

Lenz almost destroyed Almeida. Five minute major and a game misconduct, son. Easy call.

Because BC hockey is the only thing left that’s good about my alma mater’s athletics department. That’s why.

Gads is gonna get the Hat Trick
Miss Cleo just called me in the man cave.

Prediction: Boston College 5, Vermont 1

Powerball is Saturday
I have it locked down for $125.3M after taxes.
If you live in blue welfare states, about $20 freaking milllion less!
I’ll buy!
Amazing if you ever hit!
Move to Nevada, Texas, etc a no state or city tax state the next day and buy a house and get a driver’s liscense.
Tell Cuomo to take a hike!
Or 2
Scoring change on his second. Kevin Hayes got one of Kreider’s.
Unofficial official hat trick.

Unfortunately Chris Kreider had other things in mind other than winning 5-1.

Analyst Just Blasted Vermont
“Vermont is first and foremost a hockey school and they need to recruit talent!”
Please substitute BC for Vermont since Spazoo arrived.
Remember when TJ Sorrentine hit that 40 foot dagger 3 against Syracuse in the NCAA’s! Greatest shot I ever saw in the Tourney to this day!
Some might say this is a negnan comment, but we’re safe here since EO doesn’t care about hockey.

BC's Talent Gap === SPPPPPPEEEEEEDDDDD!!!
This is what tons of BC Spazoo Merrymen who do not understand TALENT REIGNS SUPREME, BC simply is getting hosed in football recruiting.
These people think BC is ok with Spazoo?
NEVERGONNAGETIT!
I Happen to Think
that even if we had the All-American team on our roster, we would only go 6-6 with Spaz at the helm. Even superb talent can only go so far with 1965 coaching.
