Press release is go.

"Boston College football announced the 16 members of the class of 2016 today, a group that includes players from six different states and one Canadian province.

The Eagles picked up eight offensive players, including three offensive linemen in Jim Cashman (Haddonfield Memorial HS/Haddonfield, N.J.), Win Homer (Christchurch School/Christchurch, Va.) and Frank Taylor (Archibishop Wood/Warrington, Pa.).

Three wide receivers - Marcus Grant (Lawrence Academy/Univ. of Iowa/Carver, Mass.), Harrison Jackson (Loudoun Valley HS/Round Hill, Va.) and Karim Zoungrana (Champlain College Lennoxville/Montreal, Quebec) - and two tight ends - Dan Crimmins (Demarest HS/Closter, N.J.) and Mike Giacone (St. Peters Prep/Jersey City, N.J.) - round out the offensive signees.

BC bolstered its defense by adding four linebackers and three defensive backs.

The linebackers are Steven Daniels (Worcester Academy/Cincinnati, Ohio) Tim Joy (Chelmsford HS/Chelmsford, Mass.), Mike Strizak (Don Bosco Prep/Fair Lawn, N.J.) and Bobby Wolford (Bishop Kenny HS/Jacksonville, Fla.).

The defensive backs are David Dudeck (The Hun School/Princeton, N.J.), Bryce Jones (Cleveland Heights HS/University Heights, Ohio) and Justin Simmons (Martin County HS/Stuart, Fla.).

Six-foot-6, 240-pound defensive end Malachi Moore (Pope John XXIII/Hackettstown, N.J.) will also join the Eagles."

Head on over to BCEagles.com for more player bios. We'll have the rest of the Eagles' National Signing Day posts up tonight and throughout the day tomorrow.

My Recap -- Please correct me if I missed or am Wrong!

1—My daughter coulda done a better job with the video on her I-Phone.

2—Spazoo mentioned his 3rd year of recruiting 3X. So the class of 2009 of the transition Jags/Spazoo class doesn’t count, unless they get drafted or make an NFL Super Bowl roster one day?

3—18-21-16 — Spazoo was named head coach in 2009, and that first class is not on his plate, but the whole staff is still there? Just a notation?

4—Lots of ways to evaluate and he named all the services and the usual there could be other services…… like he is new to the Job 1 Recruiting Wars….(BUT HE NEVER CARES WHAT THEY THINK OR LOOKS??/ Please!!)….

But here is where our Spazoo falls on his pie hole===

5—THEN Spazoo hits THE BIG SUPER BOWL ROSTER SPEECH which occupies most of the press conference.

If Spazoo doesn’t pay much attention to the current or past ratings then how did he know the exact ratings on all 6 players in the Super Bowl that averaged 3 stars???

He WAS NOT, I repeat WAS NOT!, the Head Coach when most were there…. why is he bragging like he was Bill Belicheck and he and the ever changing staff turned these Super Bowl guys into stars?

Ok…but here is the catch…

There are tons of these types all over the NFL from all schools and when one of the BC 6 makes the Pro Bowl, then you did something incredible, or in Herzy’s case, maybe a bit of both!

What about James Martin, William Green?? BC has busts like every other school?

It cuts both ways, but darn, this was about how these 16 fit …..not the entire speech on beating my BC Chest that we have 6 Super Bowl roster players and their coming to BC low ratings???

I always said this was one weird strange guy.

He also mentioned that Snee and Koppen we snuck right out under the nose of Penn State. like at that time Penn State did not recruit better OL’s that are now too in the NFL, one of whom is a PRO BOWLER?

Oopppsie!!

So now, the present Super Bowl Roster of 6 BC guys, that Spazoo might have had a hand in developing is now the justification of 3 straight years low rated no 4 and 5 star kids.

As they said in my Spanish Class in High School with Aesop’s Fables, and many know I love to end my posts with:

LA MORAL!

We can coach’em up, so have faith Eagle Nation, since when there were other Head Coaches at BC besides me, those Head Coaches placed 6 on the Super Bowl roster!

Yeah, like when TOBlunders0-15 benched Ryan in favor of Quintin Porter? There are so many more examples, but alas, that spin job was so strange since we really needed a ton more skilled speed players.

Guess what? Alabama and FSU have better coaches and tons of 4 and 5 stars and I bet in 3 years, just like in the 2012 draft where we may have 2 guys drafted in Glue Boy and Fletch……those schools will have huge draft numbers…just like this year and prior and next year?

I want to read the Q&A transcripts when you guys get a chance.

Thanks NEXUS KIDS!!

I actually agree with you on the Super Bowl players meme. I’m sure these kids are really going to remember their Signing Day Press Conference and think back to how six former Boston College Eagles were playing in that year’s Super Bowl (which is more like 3 1/2, considering both Koppen and Brace are hurt and Herzlich will be on the field for all of 30 seconds).

Shouldn’t have made it about recruiting rankings or the Super Bowl. Should have talked more about this year’s class and what the players recruited have to offer.

THIS BF!
Should have talked more about this year’s class and what the players recruited have to offer.

Like a wedding toast for the bride and groom, the best man doesn’t talk about the girls at the party he banged?

Incredible low class guido craphead!

SpazooVoodoo --I used that thread title long ago.... LMAO!

Good one Polar, from your bi-polar poster boy 74!

SpazooVoodooCatch it and die.

I am waiting for the Q&A transcripts.

I heard he said something that was the antithesis of my 9 year musings and might make my blood pressure hit a Guiness Beer World record.

I was in the SOM, so I have to look up what musings means.

I do know at my age what Musinex, Maaloz and of course Metamucil are, but this musing thing must be a A&S conspiracy,

I can’t trust Brian and AJ anymore.

They must be under 50 and secretly work for GDF in the Yawkey Village of the Damned.

Be careful Polar.
