[Ed. note -- Front Page'd]

Defenseman Steve Santini, a 2013 hockey commit, placed sixteenth in the second International Scouting Services rankings of top prospects for 2013 NHL entry draft. He slipped one spot from last month's initial rankings.

Santini is currently playing in the USHL with USA Hockey's U18 National Development Program, where he is a teammate of fellow 2013 blueline commit Scott Savage. Both players represented Team USA at the recent Four Nations Tournament, where they captured gold. Santini picked up two assists, four penalty minutes and was plus one for the tourney. Savage was scoreless with two penalty minutes and was plus two.

For the USHL season Santini is 0-7-7 with 34 PIM and Savage is 1-3-4 with 10 PIM.

Fellow defenseman and recent 2013 commit Ian McCoshen ranked 30th on the November list, after not being listed on October's list. McCoshen is also in the USHL, with the Waterloo Blackhawks, where he is 1-3-4 with 11 PIM and a team leading plus 13 despite playing in only eight the club's sixteen games.
