Boston College -- BCS Bowl Futility 19 Years and 0 Games.

Various selected ACC, Big East and teams we played and some peer teams.

-- Boise State 2-0
-- West Virginia 2-0
-- Louisville 1-0
-- Miami (Fla.) 3-1
-- Penn State 1-1
-- Stanford 1-1
-- TCU 1-1
-- Virginia Tech 1-4
-- Florida State 1-5
-- Georgia Tech 0-1
-- Maryland 0-1
-- Pittsburgh 0-1
-- Syracuse 0-1 (Remember: Syracuse 43, BC 29 -- Diamond Orange Ferri!! BC was -13.5 Favorites!)
-- Wake Forest 0-1
-- Connecticut 0-1
-- Cincinnati 0-2
-- Notre Dame 0-3

Add in Clemson now! Makes you wanna puke huh?

You think we are bad now, just wait! Ever check out the recruiting hauls in the last three years for Clemson and FSU --and this year--- in our division too!! BC has slid so far down in depth and talent, that we may only recover with a dynamic miracle head Coach hire in 2013, if slimy Gene is fired with Spazoo, since no recruiting magic new Head Coach will come to BC if GDF is there, unless..... $$$$ talks and a huge salary is paid! BC is working an inept model for recruiting talent all over America!

I'm missing something ...

I don’t get these records, 74.

Connecticut 0-1? BC has never lost to UConn.

Thanks for Paragraphing and cleaning Up My Fan Posts

Individual BCS records for each team.

UCONN beat BC to the BCS when Oklahoma Boomered them last year.

Makes me sick looking at that.

Got it

… and probably should have looked at the title of the post.

Was mixing Spaz’s record against Notre Dame (0-3) with Irish BCS game futility.

Flip this

Even worse … BCS AQ Conference programs who have never made a BCS bowl game:

ACC (5) — Boston College, Duke, N.C. State, North Carolina, Virginia
Big 12 (4) — Baylor, Iowa State, Missouri, Texas Tech
Big East (2) — Rutgers, South Florida
Big Ten (4) — Indiana, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern
SEC (5) — Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt
Pac-12 (3) — California, Arizona, Arizona State

Only 35 percent of the BCS AQ programs have never made a BCS bowl. BC = bottom 1/3.

BC = bottom 1/3.

Don’t worry Gene’s got us headed in the right direction.

Well played, sir

And after Syracuse and Pitt join the conference …

BCS Bowl (9) — Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest
No BCS Bowls (5) — Boston College, Duke, N.C. State, North Carolina, Virginia

And when Notre Dame and UConn complete ACC manifest destiny …

BCS Bowls (11) — Clemson, Connecticut, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest
No BCS Bowls (5) — Boston College, Duke, N.C. State, North Carolina, Virginia

2004: Syracuse 43 BC 17

It wasn’t as close as 43-29.

By the way, of the list above, I don’t see many of these programs suddenly breaking through and getting to their first BCS game. Michigan State was jobbed out of it this year and perhaps they can stay in the mix and Rutgers and South Florida are good candidates with the Big East breakup, but the rest, will be very difficult.

43-17 YES!

And BC was -13.5 at home on Senior Day and Ferri blisted Spazoo’s defense as a 4th string runner and Pasqualoni pawned TOB and Spazoo.

I still have nightmares ……and have not worn my Orange Sesame Stree Underoos since that day!

ENJOY!

The worst is yet to come and now its coming fast.
