Dear Luke Kuechly ...
[Ed. note -- Bumped]
Dear Luke Kuechly,
Please stay at BC for your senior year. BC needs you. I know you are currently being mocked to go as high as the 10th pick in the draft to the Philadelphia Eagles, but don't you want to win a bowl game?
While you do lead the ACC in career tackles, don't you want to lead the NCAA? You are only thirty tackles shy of the record, and if you play even half as well as you have in the past 3 years, in which you have averaged 172 tackles a season, you would crush this record.
Luke, as a member of Boston College's Academic Honor Roll, wouldn't you like to get a degree from this great institution?
Finally I am now saying this as a plea for all of us Boston College students, as I am a freshman. BC has had a tough time ever since Matt Ryan left, who this weekend will be playing Boston College's Senior team, the New York Giants, with Chris Snee, Mathias Kiwanuka, Will Blackmon, and your old fellow linebacker Mark Herzlich, who are all coached by former BC coach, and Super Bowl winning coach Tom Coughlin. Next year I think BC has a chance to get back to a bowl game since on offense due to medical redshirt we will have Montel Harris back and Chase will have matured as a quarterback and developed more chemistry with his receivers. However I firmly believe we will be a much weaker team without you and both your playmaking ability and your leadership both on and off of the field.
Besides do you really want to play with the Philadelphia Eagles? Come to Boston College's Senior team, the New York Football Giants, but not till the 2013 draft preferably.
From,
An Optimistic BC Fan

Thank you
Please Luke, come back and finish what you’ve started. We should begin a massive Kuechly for Heisman campaign if he comes back.

This 1,000X.
With the right campaign and a 250 X 75 foot Sir Luke of the Heights poster in Times Square, maybe that might make the BC GLUEBOY return and make 346,987 more tackles and a whole boatlad of Pick 6’s!!!
Maybe his injury has him take another look at the Senior Year experience?
Then again, playing for Spazoo and ND’s star LB staying, he may see the financial window as being a great lifetime security deal?
Vontaze Burfict declaring for the Draft. Think Kuechly follows him to the NFL.

Chatter has it on Draft Blogs, that Luke Glue is coming back!
Again, I would love to see a huge 250 X 75 foot Sir Luke of the BC Heights poster in Times Square, with Luke in his BC maroon covered with huge gobs of dripping gold covered glue and the words:
THE HEISMAN STICKS HERE!!!
..or something better you kids can come up with!
Maybe his injury has made him take another look? …and at the Senior Year experience?
Brian
When is the deadline to declare if Manti sees he can make a $millions$ more if Luke comes back?
How is my Times Square monster Luke poster coming along?
GET CRACKIN!
Te’o has said he’s coming back to complete some “unfinished business.” And by “unfinished business,” I suppose he means winning one of the multiple individual honors that #40 bogarted this year.
Underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to declare.

I think this countdown clock worthy.

Prediction: injury forces Kuechly to rethink the draft and stay for one more year. He comes back angry as hell and destroys every tackling record ever en route to a defensive Heisman. Behind a three-headed rushing attack the offense turns it around and BC heads to the national championship. Unfortunately, the Mayans get it right and the world ends before long suffering BC fans are able to see their beloved Eagles take the field. Sigh.

Well Luke,
you broke my heart, but good luck and please don’t go to the Philadelphia Eagles. and someway, probably only possible through free agency come to BC Senior team, the New York Giants

I have no idea how he did it.
He’s a good looking athlete but those numbers must come from channeling his inner Lawrence Butkus, I guess. He and Herzlich are two of the best I’ve seen. Someone to be proud of—too bad that “30 more tackles to immortality” ploy didn’t work.
