Send it in down Low then!

Run, press and trap and send the offense thru the post and Clifford the Big Maroon Dog.

Yeah, doubt it’ll happen, but getting 1-2 Cavs into foul trouble early will be huge for BC.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2012 8:21 PM EST up reply actions

this one has ugly written all over it

UVA certainly much better than the Eagles, but with a propensity to struggle to score (5 of last 6 games under 60 points). BC #298 in the country offensively and UVA #2 in the nation in scoring defense. How about 52-40 UVA? Might be giving both sides too much credit offensively! A flash back to the ACC days of old when Dean Smith went to the Four Corners, except both teams will be trying to score.

by CoachJF on Jan 26, 2012 8:23 PM EST reply actions

I don’t think Virginia is capable of blowing out anyone (with apologies to Georgia Tech).

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2012 9:05 PM EST up reply actions

This could very well be another game where both teams score in the 40s.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2012 9:07 PM EST up reply actions

Their defense is very impressive. We are going to really have to shoot well from outside to even think about having a chance.

by hoyaeagle on Jan 26, 2012 9:05 PM EST up reply actions

I’m hearing that Joe Harris will play tonight. Too bad, would have been a nice break for us

Strong bucket by Anderson. Nice work.

Great job following his shot by Ryan Anderson. He does so many things right, love his game.

Less. Think this team is actually pretty solid.

by hoyaeagle on Jan 26, 2012 9:13 PM EST up reply actions

Tough one. I think hoops is less overrated than football. Virginia football in the Peach Bowl was an absolute joke.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2012 9:14 PM EST up reply actions

Lost to N.C. State by 2 TDs, lost to Southern Miss … needed OT to beat Idaho, beat Indiana … Indiana! by a field goal.

Got waxed by a Virginia Tech team (38-0) that got waxed x2 by Clemson.

I’d love to see more production from Heckmann. Dude has really lost his way with this back injury.

Anyone know when Patrick Heckmann will show up again this season?

I hope it’s the back and ankle injuries…

by hoyaeagle on Jan 26, 2012 9:27 PM EST up reply actions

Those passes aren’t because of a bad back or ankles though…

74 — why are National Titles called Bunnies? Curious.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2012 9:47 PM EST up reply actions

Bunnies

When I was a kid, when you went to Rye Playland and you knocked over the 3 lead bottles with that marshmellow softball, the big Guido gave me a the Big Bunny.

This was in the days before that little fake pink bastard SOB Energizer Bunny and the movie BIG with Tom Hanks.

I want Bunnies at BC.

FYI — BC does not allow the Playboy photographers on campus to take pictures of our coed babes for showing their big racks and little twinkies or mouse traps and they would be rightly expelled!

No Bad Bunnies at BC!!!

So we get our Bunnies in National Titles!

There ya go!

by BCEagle74 on Jan 26, 2012 9:55 PM EST up reply actions

Kid likes that Hook and is gaining Confidence!

Like the late great Al McGuire said….

You need big aircraft carriers to win Bunnies!

We have one BIG MAROON DOG and we can add more in the next 2 years!
