On Sunday night, Spaz and the Eagles coaching staff received a verbal commitment from Cleveland Heights (Ohio) athlete Bryce Jones. The 5-11, 160 lbs. athlete chose the Eagles over Air Force and Northern Illinois.
Jones becomes the 15th commitment for the Class of 2012.
"The coaches didn't push me to make (a commitment) but I did after the visit," Jones told EagleAction.com on Sunday evening while waiting in the airport to return home.
"Pretty much it was everything about Boston College. I loved everything about the campus and it was my number one choice coming into the visit. The only thing holding me back was I wanted to see the campus and make sure it fit me.
"I had a great time meeting all the coaches and the players."
While Jones is listed as an athlete, sounds like he's been recruited to play strong side field corner. Jones will join Donovan Henry and Justin Simmons as defensive backs in the Class of 2012.
Welcome to the Heights, Bryce.
