URI had 12 points off BC’s 10 turnovers in the first half.

Won’t be shocked if it’s the same in the 2nd. So sloppy.

BC is limiting URI to 31.4 percent shooting from the floor, down 3 …

by Brian Favat on Jan 2, 2012 2:07 PM EST reply actions

Humphrey with his first points of the game. Surprisingly just 1-3 from the floor today.

by Brian Favat on Jan 2, 2012 2:16 PM EST reply actions

Good Humphrey

And his first three of the day …

Amazing what happens when you improve your shot selection.

Wow

Orion Outerbridge is like a made-up name, yes?

8-0 run for the Rams. No good.

Rams in Double Bonus for the rest of the half.

Don’t deserve to win this game. Far too many mistakes, missed opportunities.

by Brian Favat on Jan 2, 2012 2:51 PM EST up reply actions

Agree. But that was great D on that last possession.

I’m reading play by play on my phone and having a hard time making sense of it.

Didn’t deserve this one.

by hoyaeagle on Jan 2, 2012 3:25 PM EST reply actions

That was disappointing. The progress that was showing a few games ago did not show at all today.

by Jeff Martyn on Jan 2, 2012 3:43 PM EST via mobile reply actions

Crushed on the glass. Far too many turnovers. Sent Rhody to the line all afternoon.

Miserable game.

by Brian Favat on Jan 2, 2012 4:03 PM EST up reply actions

Bring on UNC

This team is really bad. How can you lose to a 2-12 team that shoots under 30%. Possible they may not win an ACC game…only thing in their favor is that the ACC outside of UNC and Duke is average at best. May they rest in peace.

Five Freshman played +35 minutes

I mean this is gonna take some time.

The program cupboard was not bare…..it was left destroyed by lazy Elvis.

The program cupboard was not bare, but Gene blew it up because he wanted Skinner gone. You can’t fire Skinner if he makes the NCAA Tournament last season.

Starting a freshman five, you certainly need patience. But the program cupboard didn’t have to be this bare. That’s on Gene, not the Don.
