The ACC/ESPN deal was a smart move if only to connect ACC fans on the west coast. ESPN3 is pretty much the lifeline to all BC sports out here. Except hockey.

Would be nice if my cable provider offered ESPN3 … #FAIL

Thoughts on Humphrey starting?

While he was inconsistent last week, he definitely produced.

by polarbearbrother on Jan 19, 2012 8:02 PM EST reply actions

i prefer him off the bench

but i’m okay with it… Heckmann is exactly mr. consistent either

by bloomsday16 on Jan 19, 2012 8:06 PM EST up reply actions

I prefer Humphrey coming off the bench, but Heckmann has been battling a back issue, apparently.

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 8:13 PM EST up reply actions

okay

i’m ready to bench him haha

That should have been a foul.

by polarbearbrother on Jan 19, 2012 8:24 PM EST up reply actions

Cliche, and been said before, but this is a completely different team from the first half of the year. Like, night and day.

You know how many winning seasons BC had in the 10 years prior to me getting here? Three … THREE!

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 8:59 PM EST up reply actions

It also doesn’t take a rocket scientist to stop playing Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State every season and instead play Kent State, Central Michigan and Rhode Island …

Duh.

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 9:00 PM EST up reply actions

BC shooting just 39% and 5-14 from three. Just not going to get it done tonight shooting like that.

Still at half … N.C. State 45, Boston College 28

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 9:00 PM EST up reply actions

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 9:04 PM EST reply actions

in general we lack ball control

i like how our points (moton/daniels) can take care of the ball but besides that i’m anxious anytime anyone else puts it on the floor

by bloomsday16 on Jan 19, 2012 9:05 PM EST reply actions

Just really poor shot selection tonight. Even the looks from up close look bad.

9 Freshman!

Damn you Jags!!!

Raheem Morris got his due after jags told him to start Freeman and then he won kudos and then fell on his face.

Our basketball sucks becasue of Jags!

There. I am on the record.

C.J. Leslie leaving the game. Probably won’t make much of a difference at this point.

we're never going to be able to get back in these games

with all the turnovers we commit and that how we can’t get ANY rebounds

by bloomsday16 on Jan 19, 2012 9:27 PM EST reply actions

whats the worst

is that if we could have pulled out an upset here we probably would hvae been able to turn around some of our attendance woes and build some momentum

by bloomsday16 on Jan 19, 2012 9:34 PM EST up reply actions

Honestly, I don’t think BC is going to turn around / improve attendance based on one game. The casual fan doesn’t know that N.C. State is actually good this year for a change.

by Brian Favat on Jan 19, 2012 9:39 PM EST up reply actions

yea maybe

but 3-1 would have been nice headin home against wake

by bloomsday16 on Jan 19, 2012 9:42 PM EST up reply actions

3-1 … still just 8-10 overall though.

People don’t forget.

History Channel SWAMP PEOPLE

I live too close to these guys shooting squirrels for meat and shooting gators.

These Louisiana c-asses are from another world.

We need to recruit in these low lying marshes and swamp bogs.

Just saying as I switched channels.
