Sports Illustrated Pre Season Top 25 = Spazooageddon
I was one year early with my scores of posts on the other blog and the Globe that Spazoo would be fired and GDF would hopefully be fired too and GDF needed to pay for just the many Football Program sins,----- but I was always dead balls right on the quick and sure demise about BC recruiting and the word out all over the lower 48 that Spazoo is Clownshoes and so is the current state of my alma mater's Football Program!
Here is the latest of many TOP 25 polls: Clemson 14 --- AT FSU 17 --- VT 18 --- ND 22 --- AT GT --- 25
5 ranked teams and that leaves AT Northwestern, AT WF, Miami (ranked in other early polls), Army, AT NCSU (also picked in Top 25 in some), Maryland and Army. (Remember the Maine!)
BC will be hard pressed in all 11 games except FCS Maine! I say BC will be 2012 Road Kill and go 0-5. The question you have to ask yourself, IMHO, with only a very top ceiling of maybe 5 wins, --- YIKES!! --- or even less!!!, can Spazooageddon in December 2012 or earlier,(meaning Spazoo's firing/retiring/re-assignment), be a fait accompli in 2012??? >>> and will the weakling BC trustees let embarrassing House Stooge idiot GDF pick a new Head Coach knowing he should probably be waxed first?
The Worst is Yet to Come!

Brian -- I will find you
Everyone knows that most Candians are heathens, (We do have a kid that committed from the northern lights!), Alaskans beat baby seals to death and Hawaiians all go to BYU and USC and worship pagan gods and topless women.
We need to stay within our vast hotbed of talent within the confines of New England!!
Catch-22
Would you like to see Spaz fired at the end of next season if GDF isn’t also fired and gets to hand-pick the next coach?
Or would you rather see Spaz stay on in 2013+ so long as Gene is still our AD?
I was disappointed the Spaz excuse train lived to see another season, but it’s almost a blessing in disguise. No way should Gene be allowed to pick the next football head coach.

Let GDF's Greasy Melon Roll Down the Back Of Gasson Hill
I saw more cafeteria trays with drunks quailfy for the 1972 Sapporo Olympics in the:
Lone single drunk luge and two person dating drunk, (a guy and a gal, it was 1972!), luge and two and four drunks bobsled and the assorted snapped limbs so why not bring back the olden days and roll that melon down the hill to cheering drunk throgs of BC kids!
You guys and gals still drink right?
HELLO!!!
They both need to go. After all of his Spaz-backing, I don’t think GDF can stay if Spaz gets fired.

Special K
I hate to see another losing season, but it sure looks very bleak.
If GDF hits a Grand Slam with say a Chris Peterson type or the like and the entire Spazoo staff is fired, (AN ABSOLUTE MUST), then Coach Flip will be finally castrated from the BC Football program.
Why don’t you kids clone Jerry York with all that new fangled chemical stuff in Higgins Hall and those coke bottled nerds in the lab?
I tried to create a nuclear fusion machine in there in 1971 for extra credit in Chemistry, but the two nurses would not remove their clothes and I was beaten up by them.
I never returned.
There is just no way BC pays above market for a new head football coach. We are currently paying Spaz in calzones, and the leap from 1 million calzones to $3-4 million dollars just ain’t happening.
BC SHOULD be able to attract a HC with previous HC success; not some hot shot NFL coordinator or a coach from the MAC / Sun Belt. But I doubt they will.
The malaise runs deep.

BF -- Very, Very Deep and Very Costly in Many Ways!
>>> $1.5B endowment and growing!
>>> Huge cash flows from the new TV and ACC Deals and bowl sharing!
>>> Another “Come on Baby Light My Neenan Fire Fund Raiser” brought in more millions!
So what BC has been for the last 10+ years especially and telling the world and its alums, we are small time cheap ass Jesuit miser chumps and even though College Football is a huge billion dollar business and we have the Carroll SOM right next door to run models and the long term benefits of new facilities and staduim and arena capital investments and the past recorded “Flutie Tsunami” of donations and pride which was well known for its huge positive financial impacts at BC…. we have decided to be pathetic, embarrassing LOSERS.
Just incredible.

The worst part is that there were a TON of good coaching candidates hired this offseason — RichRod, Leach, Fedora, Chryst, etc. Not to mention past BC bridesmaids — London, Golden, Addazio — having success at their new programs. In London and Golden’s case, they are having success in conference, which will eventually come back to bite BC.
BC could have easily upgraded HC position over the last two seasons and didn’t. Really a shame.

Damn You BRIAN!!
Haven’t you opened that e-mail!!!
Spazoo is the Best Coach at BC in 16 years!!!!
All Spazoo needs now is a sport he can coach!!!
You last post, reading those names and the others makes all of Eagle Nation true football fans sad.
Mike Leach was one cool guy.
TT guys I know in Dallas siad he was just a great Coach and exactly what TT needed and just a blast to be around.
No one would be surpised if ML brought back the WSU Cougar offense and made them competitive with the Pac 12 powers.
I was most bummed about losing out on Paul Chryst. Thought he was the perfect coach for BC. Runs a smashmouth, run-to-set-up-the-pass offense that is what BC football should be all about.
To make matters worse, he’ll be joining the ACC in 2 years.

Conference Roulette
Big 12 rednecked people are saying WVU is coming this year?
Whatever??
I wonder if all the payoffs/bribes/bullsxxt will happen soon for scheduling and the Big L-East lets WVU, Pitt and Cuse go next year or earlier?
Kids, I still have my hopes up and National title dreams that one day soon, we can dominate the Colonial Athletic Conference and be competitive again with Holy Cross and all those special national powerhouse teams in the CAC!!
I truly believe we can dominate Towson and Old Dominion and Gene DeFilippo can have a special wing added to the BC Hall of Fame that he put himself into last year!!
Don’t ruin the dream Brian.
I think West Virginia ends up buying way out of Big East for next season. Pitt and Syracuse wait it out another year since they know their football programs are still garbage. Better to wait it out another year and be competitive in the Big East.
For West Virginia to leave though, Providence will have to figure out a way of bringing one of Central Florida, Houston or SMU into the fold a year earlier than anticipated.

Conference needs to have 8 members to keep BCS AQ. Big East – West Virginia = 7. Would have to reload with one of the new programs for next season.

Dude, it ain't the money that is the problem at BC. It is the culture.
Those tight-ass jesuits are institutionally incapable of attracting the kind of guys, that will attract the “Smart”, High-end football that Stanford has a “mortal” lock on.
Even the guys on this board. don’t know the language, to reach out and touch them.
Charlie Sheen figured it out!……What is your prob?
Spazoo Has To Be Fired First. Spazoo is not as well liked as people think!
BF-
Hey even our arrogant loser GDF can offer a Chris Peterson $3.25M, or a Brent Pease, or the next great name $2.5++M and get lucky?
Sadly, Mike Leach was a perfect fit since he was a cool savvy cultural guy and fit in everywhere except for the world’s epicenter of stupid hayseen moron people and jealous College Admin’s, or…..LUBBOCK, TEXAS!
Lots of great Coachs got hired thsi year!
By the way…. I hear Chip Kelly at Oregon may have itchy feet?
NFL??
If not, offer him $4M to come and give Yawkey the nuclear enema it so richly deserves in 2013!!
He came from New England!!
Manchester boy!!!
Florida State, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Northwestern
Could easily go 0-5, but my guess is BC wins 2 of those games.
Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Maryland, Miami, Army, Maine
Think BC will be lucky to finish above .500 at home this year. 3-ish wins.
5-7! Woo!

Kevin Steele Defensive Coordinator for Clemson Is BUH BYE
You get the game time temperature dropped on you or the day’s high in a big boy bowl game and you are gone unless your Head Coach man’s up?
KS was NFL caliber level defensive coach and Head Coach.
There’s always a scapegoat or someone to blame somewhere.
National Sighing Day For Eagle Nation
but I was always dead balls right on the quick and sure demise about BC recruiting and the word out all over the lower 48 that Spazoo is Clownshoes and so is the current state of my alma mater’s Football Program!
