I think you guys nailed it.
By the way if BC fans are scared about Donnie Fletcher injury remember CHRIS FOX AND RYAN LINDSEY played at corner and were fine.

Fractures
On this date, one of the Boston papers quoted Donnie Fletcher. “It’s getting better every day. I had a couple of fractures, some bruises, some swelling, but I should be ready to go on Saturday. I’m getting treatment every day”. The key word here is “fractures” in the back which is the spine and that’s just a little bit scary. Whoever told him that fractures are irrelevant and can be overcome with will is doing him an extreme disservice and is a little bit scary.

Tone
The first two games will set the tone. There is no way to gauge the team until then. Once these two contests are in the books, it’s either great or “all hell to pay”. On the evening of September 10, everyone will know. NW & UCF are the key to the season.
Completely Agree
We’ll know a lot about this season by September 11th.
Brian’s is almost identical to mine.

I know better than to get into bowl projections, haha, but the records look similar. Glad you are bullish on UNC as well.

I kinda shocked myself after I went through the Heels schedule and came up with 11-1.

BC to El Paso
The Sun Bowl is probably the one ACC bowl tie-in that cares the least about travel rep. El Paso takes a chance on the Eagles and pairs with a strong Pac-12 program. First ever meeting between BC and our Twelve Pack bros UCLA.
Mark it 8, dude.
