Last week, it was rumored that Allen Huddleston, a guard who played for Pacific, was transferring to Boston College. Huddleston denied this on twitter, and he said he hasn't decided yet. Here's a list of possible BC transfers:
Allen Huddleston, Guard, Pacific, Junior-11.1 PPG, 1.4 APG, 2.2 RPG
(Considering: BC, California, SDSU, several unamed WAC schools)
Huddleston seems the most likely person on this list to transfer to BC. He would be a great fit, because he shot 40% on 3 pointers and made 59 of them. He's not a great defender, but he can attack the basket, and he would be valuable to Coach Donahue.
Corey Hawkins, Guard, Arizona St, Sophomore-2 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 0.9 APG
(Considering: UC Davis, UMass, BC)
Hawkins seems to be all over the place. First it was reported he likes BC, then it was reported he's not interested, and then he seems to be interested again. I don't see him coming to BC, but you can never rule out Donahue's abiltiy to convince players to come to Chestnut Hill. Hawkins set the all-time scoring record in Arizona (previously held by Mike Bibby) and he can defend pretty well. Hawkins had knee injuries in his freshman year, so he struggled.
Lamont "Momo" Jones, Guard, Arizona, Junior-9.7 PPG, 2.4 APG, 1.6 RPG
(Considering: UConn, Seton Hall, BC, Maryland, Iona)
People will laugh at me on this one, but if you read reports, BC is considering gettting involved with Momo, since he can't transfer to St. John's because of a NCAA rule that states that Momo can't transfer because his former high school coach is an assistant coach at St. John's.This one is a long shot, but if Donahue does gets involved with Momo, he might have a slight chance at the point guard who can shoot and score well.
Of course, all of these transfers should take their time and do what's best for them.
