How Boston College Students Reacted To Osama Bin Laden's Death

Stay connected for news and updates

Students on campus across the country celebrated the death of Osama bin Laden on Sunday night. The Dagger's Jeff Eisenberg rounds up a collection of images and videos from prominent U.S. colleges in the aftermath of bin Laden's death.

Here is the reaction from Boston College:

Eisenberg notes:

"Credit these Boston College students for finding the best possible place to sing the national anthem. According to the person who posted the YouTube clip, the students broke into the lobby of a campus library via an emergency exit about an hour after President Obama delivered his speech."

Even though most current students were in elementary school when the World Trade Center fell 10 years ago, they certainly appreciated the significance of the moment. Pretty awesome scene for a school affected more than some others by the terrorist attacks of September 11. In all, 22 members of the Boston College community lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
