Boston College Hockey: Eagles In The NHL Playoffs First Round
[Ed. note -- Bumped]
Of all the NCAA hockey alums in the first round of the NHL Playoffs, Boston College alums led the way with 10 goals from Ben Smith (3), Brian Gionta (3), Nathan Gerbe (2), and Patrick Eaves (2). Vermont had the second most with nine, followed by Wisconsin with eight.
In total, nine BC players played in the first round of the NHL playoffs. Unfortunately, only three -- Cory Schneider, Andrew Alberts, and Patrick Eaves -- are moving on to the second round.
Is it too soon to start calling BC Playoff Goalscorer-U?

Rooting interest
Vancouver-Boston Stanley Cup Finals …
Vancouver for Alberts and Schneider. Bruins for all you BC-Bruins fans (and the fact that I hate the Flyers more than the Bruins).
Ps – totally whiffed on catching that Alberts was on the Canucks …
