I’d love to have an actual ACC hockey conference but that would require, you know, more than one team. The biggest issue, of course, is facilities. But I figure schools located near NHL franchises can rent those arenas, right? So Maryland’s team will play where the Capitals play, N.C. State will play at the RBC Center, Georgia Tech will share the ice with the Thrashers and Miami will player where the Panthers play. Voila, a five-team league!
