Boston College Depth Chart For N.C. State Game

Photo

Well if anyone predicted that Frank Spaziani would have made significant changes to the BC depth chart after last Thursday's blowout loss to Florida State, you would have been wrong. Even with no winning record or bowl game to look forward to, Coach Spaz is going with the same starting lineup. "Middle Schmiddle," if you will.

On offense, the only news of note is that Josh Bordner is finally listed on the two deep, listed alongside Dave Shinksie as possible backups to Chase Rettig. Pretty much what we expected right? Andre Williams is listed again, but like last week that means very little. Spaz continues to put injured players on the two deep, even if there is a high probability that they won't even play. So don't hold your breath on that one.

On defense, Kevin Pierre-Louis is still out. Sean Duggan who has done a solid job in KPL's absence will again get the start at linebacker. Jim Noel Is out again, and Manny Asprilla will get the start at corner.

Any thoughts on the two deep this week?

A LOT of redshirt freshmen and sophomores on this week’s two-deep …

And if anyone is left off, we have Spaz’s permission to blame it on him.

I will contribute up to $35 for a group buy of superfan shirts that have “Middle, Schmiddle” where the slogan goes.

That would be the perfect anti-Spaz shirt. I am pretty sure if you tried to walk into Alumni with a “Fire Spaz” shirt on the security would make you turn it inside out.

This comment reminded me of all the failed signs that were censored for the last BC gameday against FSU. This one was my favorite.

And this one ...

Man, I should have broke these out last week. #FAIL

I couldn’t even get on the Dustbowl because I came to the game with my friend who is a diehard UF fan and had easily some of the most offensive posters I have ever seen. One of them was about small pox and the other one was some joke about Jenn Sterger.

I have a few more that are NSFW … involving a play on the “Seminoles” nickname and scalping Ponder’s “Noles.”

Depth Chart

I can’t for the life of me figure out why there are no changes on the offensive line. Down 38 – 7 with 10 min remaining why was the starting line still out there. It was quite obvious they were not making a triumphant come back so why not put the 2 deep in and see what they can do.
