Final Pregame Thoughts: Notre Dame Game
It's finally here the game we have all been waiting for, Notre Dame. Can you remember a time you felt this apathetic about a game against the Irish? In the past today would have been a day of getting together with other Eagles alums, having a big house party, and celebrating the history of our great college. It has gotten so bad that I can't even sell the idea of a free game watch at Harry's, and BC had to return a chunk of their allotted tickets back to the Irish. Fail all around.
Big Questions
Can BC stay in this game? Will this game even be watchable? How many beers can I drink as I watch the Irish throw the ball over the Eagles? Will we ever be optimistic about this team ever again? Can I make it through this entire post without trashing Frank Spaziani?
Lingering Questions
Who has a bigger game Luke Kuechly or Mantei Te'o? Can Kuechly win a game all by himself? What will you do if BC actually pulls off a win? Will BC burn to the ground if they upset the Irish?
Gametime Song of the Week
This was a tough one. I thought of going with Jesus Walks by Kanye West, because of the whole God theme, and that Yeezy is from Chicago. But I want to stick with the theme of old skool hip hop. So for this week I decided on the Pharcyde's- Passin' Me By . Pretty much describes the states of Notre Dame and Boston College.

True BC may win tonight, but then again they may get it handed to them. What makes this any different than any other game? This is Notre Dame, our rivals, the team BC fans die to see their Eagles defeat. Can you live in a world where BC goes to South Bend and loses by four touchdowns? I can't. Therefore Dr. A.J. prescribes shots of whiskey, maybe a Jagerbomb here and there, some Guinness, a Cape Codder, and whatever else you can find. And if you need extra incentive to get lit during this game, make sure to check out our BC & Notre Dame Drinking Game. You may be able to make it through this game sober, and if you do you are a better man/woman than I.
Reading from the Fire Spaz-o-meter 3000: 6. I guess beating N.C. State helps to lower the fan bases rage, but it shouldn't be completely lowered. I mean, seriously did you watch that second half. That was a terrible gameplan right there. Just sit on a four point, run the same plays over and over again, and pray that Tom O'Brien can't get out of his own way. Actually that's kind of genius. Good work Spaz!

A.J's Lock Solid Prediction: Notre Dame 35, Boston College 6
I have really struggled with my predictions of late. Two weeks ago I thought the Eagles could shock FSU, and last week I thought they had no shot against the Wolfpack. So take my predictions with a grain of salt. I don't care about emotional highs, or rivalries, BC lacks the talent and gameplan that Notre Dame does. I sense a UCF game all over again where the offense can't stay on the field and the defense keeps us in the game until halftime. But it will be ugly in the second half when the D is completely gassed.
Superfan Thermometer: How are you all feeling about this weekend's game against Notre? Think the Eagles have a trick left up their sleeve and can pull off another David Gordon? Leave your thoughts about today's game in the comments. GO EAGLES

If Deuce can establish the run and the defense can contain the notre dame passing game bc will have a chance
If...
he gets just three carries like last week, then It’s over…and over early. And if it’s over early, I suspect there won’t be a lot of running for any bc back. Then again, BC has been known to be down big and run draws on 3rd and 21.
Even if they lose, I will be happy to see a legitimate game plan, especially on offense.
Great song selection

I agree with Mr. T.
My Tee prediction below.
Forget It
Forget the scouting reports, forget the injury reports. Forget everything. We’re done. saw a lady w/ a ND t-shirt in Publix this a.m.. Saw people in Publix the moning of the UCF game and the evening of the FSU game with t-shirts and you know what happened. Understandable since this is central FL, true. But a ND t-shirt? I know, there are ND assho….fans coast to coast. And it was kinda nice to see that I’m not the only Catholic in Seminole County. But still, I go to that Publix alot (as does Lars Anderson’s mom) and have yet to see anyone in anything ND. So there you have it. It’s over. And I wore my BC t-shirt last night for the hockey game, so I can’t be of any help. The Curse of the Publix T-Shirts continues. ND: 33; BC:6.
I have been wrong about basically every prediction this year, so you have to like the Eagles’ chances

Regardless, I get to watch Eagles football today. I may not like what I’m watching, but I will like the fact I am watching it. A win would be nice thought.
Go Spaz! Throw caution to the wind! Maybe Run Pass Pass, and then Punt!

Reverse jinx
BC doesn’t cover. Kelly sends a message to Catholics everywhere by playing first string offense late into the fourth quarter. Notre Dame, who has been killed in turnovers this year, finishes +3 and cruises to a 45-9 victory.
