"I’m hoping the Maryland Deuce wasn’t an aberration," BC coach Frank Spaziani said before yesterday’s practice. "He is still a good runner and he still has good vision."

The Wolfpack (5-4, 2-3) dominated from start to finish last Saturday, shutting out rival North Carolina while holding the Tar Heels to just 3 yards rushing. They are on track for a bowl game for the second straight year.

"It's like you're playing your older brother," Eagles linebacker Luke Kuechly said before practice Wednesday. "They know what you're doing, you know what they're doing. It's whoever can do it the best."

"I had a great 10 years in Boston," O’Brien said. "It’s a little easier now because I really don’t know anybody on the football team (as far as players). … It’s easier now than when I knew everybody we were playing against."

"Now we've got Duggan," the coach said, referring to true freshman Sean Duggan. "We like him. But he's a puppy, and I'm not sure what kind of dog he is yet: poodle, St. Bernard, German Shepherd, pit bull. We're not sure what he is. He's a little puppy we got from the pound. He's nice; he nips you."

"I haven’t thought about it all,’’ said Kuechly.’’ People over the past week have brought it up, asking what’s your plans. We’ve got three games left to play. That’s enough to worry about. We got three great teams starting with N.C. State. If I start focusing on stuff that’s down the road, you are going to lose sight of what we need to do win.’’

Week 11: Did you know? (ESPN ACC Blog)
In BC’s 38-7 home loss to Florida State, a season-high 10 players were sidelined with injuries. In addition to the five players who have suffered season-ending injuries – WR Ifeanyi Momah (knee), DB C.J. Jones (knee), DL Connor Wujciak (shoulder), RB Montel Harris (knee) and DL Kaleb Ramsey (foot) – five veterans have suffered various recent injuries. They include senior OL Nate Richman, redshirt freshman RB Tahj Kimble, sophomore LB Kevin Pierre-Louis, junior DB Jim Noel and sophomore RB Andre Williams.

ACC Weekend Preview, Nov. 11 (ACC Sports Journal)
Key For The Eagles. Forgetting about the last game. The Eagles played their worst game of the year in a 38-7 loss to Florida State, getting dominated in nearly every phase of the game. If they can’t move on mentally, they will quickly fall behind in this matchup.

I believe it. BC actually mans up and counts the gate, not tickets sold like other programs.
