Boston College Hockey: The Season Opener Will Be Televised

Great news for all you Boston College hockey fans. On Tuesday, the school announced that Fox College Sports Central will broadcast all four games of the 2011 Ice Breaker Tournament, including the Eagles' season opener against Michigan State tomorrow at 5 PM EST.

BC will then play either Air Force or host North Dakota on Saturday night.

To check whether your cable provider has Fox College Sports -- FCS Pacific, FCS Central or FCS Atlantic -- visit http://fcs.channelfinder.net/start.asp. If you are a DirecTV subscriber and have the DIRECTV's Sports Pack, you can find FCS on channel 617 or 623.

But wait, there's more ...

Since CBS Sports Network announced its eight game broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 season, the network has picked up the Eagles' Friday, November 18 road game at Notre Dame, making six BC games that the network will televise this season.

To help you keep track, here is the 2011-12 Eagles' hockey TV schedule for games already announced. We'll continue to update throughout the year as more games are announced (NESN, Versus / NBC Sports Network, etc.). Below are the previously announced televised games for 2011-12.
