Boston College freshman forward Johnny Gaudreau has earned Hockey East Association Rookie of the Week honors after recording four points in the team's 6-2 win over No. 3 North Dakota in the Ice Breaker Invitational championship game.

Only saw the results from last weekend, but realyl excited to see how these young guys (Straight, Gaudreau) meld with the upper classman.
This early season schedule is brutal, so should have an even better take on where we stand nationally after Friday’s skate with Denver.

How huge was Kreider turning down those increasingly forceful overtures from the Rangers this summer? We should enjoy every game he plays this season, because I don’t think talent like that can be kept from the NHL much longer…
