Superfans Jumping On The Packers Bandwagon?

Well, that was a fairly disastrous weekend for BC alumni in the NFL playoffs:

- Matt Ryan and the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons ... eliminated
- Matt Hasselbeck and the sub-.500 Seattle Seahawks ... eliminated
- The New York Jets' Damien Woody ... out for the season with an Achilles injury.

The only Boston College alum left standing in the NFL Playoffs are the Packers' B.J. Raji and Robert Francois

When we last polled the BC fan base, just 4 percent of fans were rooting for the Packers (5 votes) and Bears (6 votes) in the NFC, while just 7 percent of fans were rooting for either the Jets (15 votes) or the Steelers (3 votes). So a vast majority of Superfans came away disappointed in last weekend's NFL playoff results.

So who are you rooting for the rest of the way? Throwing on your cheesehead and jumping on the Green Bay bandwagon? Or simply counting down the days to when pitchers and catchers report for spring training?

Packers at Bears: Raji and Francois instead of the Bears, though James Marten probably would get a Super Bowl ring if Chicago won it all. Rooting interest: Packers.

Jets at Steelers: With Damien Woody out, this game doesn't feature any BC alumni, though Woody would get a ring if the Jets made like Joe Namath and won the Super Bowl. Rooting interest: Jets.
