Boston College Picked To Finish Third In Atlantic In Preseason Poll

We'll have more thoughts and reactions on this tomorrow, but here are the results from the Atlantic Coast Conference’s official 2010 preseason poll. It's July, so that means that Florida State, coming off a 7-6 season, is once again the media darling of the Atlantic Division. Boston College finished third behind Florida State and Clemson, though the Eagles did pick up 2 votes to win the conference (tied for 5th with North Carolina).

very surprised at how the player of the year breakdowns turned out

I understand Christian Ponder, but I think Montel Harris at the start is a clear favorite over Kyle Parker, Herzy, Robert Quinn, and Nesbitt.

Just my two cents.

Also depending on how carries are split,, i think Ryan Williams could steal this from the hyped up Ponder.

I agree Montel Harris probably should have gotten more love. If BC is in the Atlantic Division hunt, he’ll get quite a few more votes in the postseason ballot.
