Around SBN: Ray Allen Fighting Age, Injury And His New Role

In a strange turn of events, Clemson QB Kyle Parker will return to play football this fall, according to TheClemsonInsider.com. Parker will play football for another year, still sign a baseball deal with the Rockies, but take less money (and spread the bonus over a longer period).

The jury is still out as to how Parker's decision impacts BC, but it certainly can't hurt the Tigers' chances to repeat as Atlantic Division champs. Clemson is largely considered one of the favorites to win the division, along with BC and Florida State. Even with Parker back, the Clemson offense should probably regress a bit without the big play abilities of RB C.J. Spiller and WR Jacoby Ford.

The Eagles host the Tigers on October 30.

And they lost their #3 pass catcher TE Palmer

This team will improve in '10... on its 16-16 conference record over the last 4 years.... after losing 20 games in the last 4 years... after having the 7th worst major-conference defense... after not even winning its own division in the ACC in the last 4.

great

Since clemson has such high expectations, i can look forward to orange and purple taking over cleveland circle for yet another year.

I hope we finally beat Dabo, because this is just getting ridiculous.

It looks like the BC-Clemson game is shaping up to be a 6-3 affair with how good both defenses will be.
