Despite nothing being posted on BC Eagles, Gene and BC have clearly made up their minds and Steve Donahue will be Boston College's next men's basketball coach. Undoubtedly, some will be disappointed that BC didn't get Bruce Pearl or Brad Stevens but this is a good hire. Donahue would've been scooped up by Clemson or another major conference school if we had not hired him.
I think fans will really be happy - or more disappointed - with this hire once they see who Clemson gets to replace Oliver Purnell.

P.S. Not the most flattering pictures of our new man. Pic on left looks like he’s telling those damn kids to get off his shed.
Of the options BC had available, this was the right move.
It’s been a good day for BC basketball, and I hope everyone who can get out to the Dustbowl (who the hell calls it the “Campus Green”?) tomorrow afternoon does so.
