If we win next year...

Dynasty!!!! That would definately get some exposure.

Hard to imagine that BC would win this looking back to the doldrums of the Fall and mid-January. The kids have really lifted their game and their spirits and almost had a Cinderella tournament, defeating the 1 and 3 seeds. This will be hard to match in future years and before we speak of Dynasty, we should be greatful for this year’s accomplishment…

I am hoping my Fighting Sioux get another crack at the Eagles soon…

I think you mean the “Fighting Sioux” … next season is last year for the nickname, no?

The fight to keep the “Fighting Sioux nickname is not over yet. ”http://ndgoon.blogspot.com/2010/04/spirit-lake-group-urges-hoeven-to-step.html" >

I know i said that the Miami game was their best all year,

but the way they shut down Wisconsin was unworldly. The defense is young, which makes me feel great about the future of this team. Next year we have some brothers of past and current Eagles coming to the Heights (Kevin Hayes and Cody Ferreio), so they should already be well versed in the “BC way”. As long as we don’t have too many pro defections (from what I hear there shouldn’t be), we are in great shape for at least another year, if not two.

It’s really difficult to win back-to-back titles, but with only four seniors graduating (Price, Lombardi, Smith and Sneep), the Eagles have a ton of talent returning. Later this week, we’ll take a way-too-early look at the talent returning next season and handicap the Eagles’ chances.

True...

But we ARE in the best recruiting hotbed in the country, and we are the school everyone wants to go to from that hotbed.
