It's senior night on the Heights as we honor the career of Tyler Roche. The Eagles need a win to secure a spot in the #8 vs. #9 game the ACC Tournament. The game is a 9 PM tip over BC's Spring Break, so attendance will probably be very light. I know this season has been very frustrating (to say the least), but If you get the opportunity to attend tonight's game, please do.
Similarly, Virginia can earn the #8 seed with a win tonight on the road. For Virginia, their leading scorer and playmaker Sylven Landesberg will be a game-time decision. Landesberg was sidelined for Virginia's home game against Duke on Sunday with a bruised thigh.
Leave your pre-, in- or post-game thoughts below.
Go Eagles!

I like the optimism
Certainly if Landesberg doesn’t play, that’s huge for the Eagles.
The lack of a home court advantage though – only one senior, it’s Spring Break, 9 PM ET tip – has me worried though.

BC
Is still hot regardless of losing to GT and UVA is on like…an 8 game losing streak or something, plus they really mustve lost their confidence getting raped by Duke a few days ago.

Ha. BC < Duke this year, and Landesberg didn’t play in the game against Duke.

I know, but Landesberg will either play hurt or not play, and u could tell BC felt that they shouldve won that GT game by watching the final 30 seconds

BC might have beat GT if Rakim Sanders … contributed. Just sayin’.

Gonna be an easy one
I would really like to see a UVA BC repeat in ACCT round 1

Despite the close score
It’s pretty obvious BC is the better team here
Is Landesberg playing?
Not by a TV. In class.

Don’t worry though. Class is good. The CEO of the Maui Invitational spoke. I put in a good word for BC.

NC State lost so we can wrap up the #8 seed with a win here

Tim Welsh calls Sanders and Trapani most offensively talented
Seems like he watches a good bit of BC basketball so I’m pretty surprised no mention on Jackson
The shots of Conte are so disappointing
I mean, I know they had everything going against them … spring break, 9 PM tip off, Tyler Roche night, but still. Looks terrible on TV.

I'm less disappointed with tonights attendance than I have been for other games this season. UVA brings nothing to the table.
No, 9 PM starts bring nothing to the table unless you are playing them at Cameron Indoor or the Dean Dome.

The ACC should really take a look at the effect that 9 PM games are having on attendance and TV viewership. I’d imagine they aren’t very popular. Missed opportunities.

With the NC State loss tonight
Unless UNC beats Duke and UVA loses to Maryland…BC plays UVA next Thursday at noon in the 8 v 9 game and the winner plays Duke Friday at noon
If the tournament started today ...
The #7 Georgia Tech vs. #10 North Carolina draw is by far the best game of the bunch.
Florida State (5) vs. Miami (12)
Wake Forest (6) vs. NC State (11)
Georgia Tech (7) vs. North Carolina (10)
Boston College (8) vs. Virginia (9)

Impressive win by Maryland
Really doesn’t mean anything thing though when Duke pummels UNC this weekend.
