Jackson too far away from the basket, and Trap missed two shots from point-blank range.

Hot start for UVA

it’s used to feelings of emptiness and despair, so it’s right at home in the current Gboro Coliseum atmosphere.

Ohio State? Kansas State?

BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog

by Brian Favat on Mar 12, 2010 6:49 AM EST via mobile up reply actions

Well, you may have got me on Kansas State…Ohio States loss to Minnesota sticks out like a sore thumb, and they may not win this game against Michigan right now. If they lose, definitely no number 1 seed.

Kansas State finishing the season on a losing streak…especially with that wild game against Iowa St…idk how much the selection committee will come down on them for that game.

I think the last number 1 spot really is Purdue’s to lose right now. I know the loss against Northwestern is bad, but thats it…only 4 losses on the season, none out of the conference. I think that 0 is the biggest thing they have going for them…but they have to AT LEAST reach the Big Ten championship…and a win should clinch that last seed.

by Justin_Bobo on Mar 12, 2010 1:55 PM EST up reply actions

I think it’s a tossup between Purdue and Syracuse. They both have four losses but Syracuse has the much higher SOS.

but coach skinner had the core part of our team on the bench for a large chunk of the second half.

by BCRaj on Mar 11, 2010 3:34 PM EST reply actions

I don’t disagree with the move to bench Reggie in the second half. He was killing us with shots only a few seconds into the possession. Can’t panic. Have to take time to set the offense up.

Trapani and Roche had miserable games too. But they have to be on the court at the end to give us range.
