Every time I hear UVA’s Jeff Jones’ name called, I keep singing to myself “Mike Jones!” Weird.

Gotta take better shots
Jackson too far away from the basket, and Trap missed two shots from point-blank range.

Hot start for UVA
it’s used to feelings of emptiness and despair, so it’s right at home in the current Gboro Coliseum atmosphere.

Yeah, or Jackson takes only half-decent shots with 30 left on the shot clock. Set up the offense, young’n.

Rakim Sanders
rakim sanders is a may i say great passer, when he isn’t lazy.
Southern, sit down please. NIce move, but horrible finishing.
Middle name
Josh “Horrible Finishing” Southern.

Dude
Jackson needs to set up the Flex and stop taking shots early in the possession. That’s the other way BC can lose.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
i concur, dont get away from PG jackson mentality
He suffers from basketball ADD, i thought we had that under control. But obviously not.
He should follow the rock’s advice, “Know your role and shut your mouth.”
I can point to any number of BC losses where we starting rushing things. The worst of those games being Maine.

this is the same thing that has happened all year
HORRIBLE FINISHING INSIDE
Horrible finishing, horrible fast break, horrible a lot of things.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
ok get southern out
Southern- good block- followed by flat footed people watching.
then good pass by sanders and he cannot hold on to the ball.
Can we please put a moratorium on announcers referring to Reggie Jackson as Mr. _________ (insert month that is not October).
As a Yankees fan, this offends me. I wonder if this gets to Reggie’s head?
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
hahah
i dont think he ever thinks about it. Its a very common name.
“Will Reggie become Mr. March?” Cheese. Can’t take it.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
trill
get the prez of the BC chapter out of the game. He plays horrible defense and is slow.
We are down and panicking, this includes mr. march. We really need him to get back in the PG mentality and get the ball to guys in the right spots.
Doesnt help we are shooting poorly both inside and outside
Well done, Rakim
That’s how we have to attack UVA. Get the ball down low to Sanders in isolation. They can’t stop that.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
18 foot jump shots from Sanders early in the possession = not how to beat Virginia. Come on!
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
Rakim stepping up
I like exploiting mismatches, i feel we havent done this all season. Thankfully we have gotten the message now.
And dont worry about the jumpshot, its a heat check. And that was a decent shot.
No heat checks at this point in the game, please. Stick with what has been working.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
the story of the season
negatives outweight positives…..
Effed up last two possession by holding onto the ball too long. Kobe, you are not.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
The bad thing is by sending a message to Reggie by benching him, you have to put Biko back on the court.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
yes biko = fail
do we waste the red-shirt and put canada in :)
Zeglinski is getting a severed horse head in his bedsheets tomorrow morning …

who is this Z kid?
put a defender on this kid and foul him hard
thats all i ever heard from my organized bball coaches

Trapani 0-for-7 from floor. Roche 1-for-6.
We’ll win all of 0 games when that happens.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
no shows
Roche and Trapani…. much needed 3 pt threats. Farewell Roche, hope your degree treats you well.
Wow Dunn
Just wow. If you are going to foul him, I mean, put some effort into it, right?
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
ok sooo skinner there is less than a minute left
You expect Sanders to deliver with a horrible lineup where they can just focus on him.
Biko
Roche
Elmore
Sanders
Dunn
i wonder who’s getting the ball.
I dont care how bad they are playing put in trapani and jackson
Unreal.
Leave it to BC to let UVA snap out of their 9 game ACC losing streak without their best player.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
too arrogant
we came into this game with a win against them last week, and we’re too confident.
We shot poorly, and our two MVPs didnt show up.
all this adds up to last game of the season.
Season is over, right?
Does the CBI and CIT have similar rules that you have to be over .500 to play?
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
yes season is over
there are no set qualifications for either tourney, but performance is evaluated. So im assuming under .500 is all she wrote
jackson now decides
jackson now decides to score quickly instead of holding on to the ball for 10 secs before making any move towards the basket
ok not to say reggie was playing well
but reggie now has gone off…… why couldnt we start this 3 minutes earlier?
i know why
he was on the bench for way too long
This is why I have a love/hate relationship with college basketball
The end of games are painful to watch. A FT shooting contest is the equivalent of a HR derby in baseball.

Ohio State? Kansas State?
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
by Brian @ BCI on Mar 12, 2010 6:49 AM EST via mobile up reply actions
Well, you may have got me on Kansas State…Ohio States loss to Minnesota sticks out like a sore thumb, and they may not win this game against Michigan right now. If they lose, definitely no number 1 seed.
Kansas State finishing the season on a losing streak…especially with that wild game against Iowa St…idk how much the selection committee will come down on them for that game.
I think the last number 1 spot really is Purdue’s to lose right now. I know the loss against Northwestern is bad, but thats it…only 4 losses on the season, none out of the conference. I think that 0 is the biggest thing they have going for them…but they have to AT LEAST reach the Big Ten championship…and a win should clinch that last seed.
I think it’s a tossup between Purdue and Syracuse. They both have four losses but Syracuse has the much higher SOS.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
So what you're saying is...
Duke all of a sudden leapfrogs Cuse and becomes a lock by beating UVA and having Cuse lose to G’town, a team Duke lost to this season?
Yeah. Still think it’s Cuse as last 1. It’s very difficult to beat same team three times in a season.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog

Unless Duke wins the ACCTCG
Then I see Cuse as a 3rd 1 and Duke as a 4th

Aghhhh!
My friend said they lost cuz everyone was getting pissed at each other, that true?
didnt see the getting pissed
but coach skinner had the core part of our team on the bench for a large chunk of the second half.
I don’t disagree with the move to bench Reggie in the second half. He was killing us with shots only a few seconds into the possession. Can’t panic. Have to take time to set the offense up.
Trapani and Roche had miserable games too. But they have to be on the court at the end to give us range.
BC Interruption, a Boston College sports blog
by Brian @ BCI on Mar 11, 2010 6:30 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
That's just stupid...
Did he really think our bench players were better than UVA starters or our starters even if they had off games…
