Boston College's 2010 Football Schedule

The Atlantic Coast Conference just released the schedule over at theACC.com. Here is BC's schedule:

Sept. 4 - WEBER STATE
Sept. 11 - KENT STATE
Sept. 18 - BYE
Sept. 25 - VIRGINIA TECH

Oct. 2 - NOTRE DAME
Oct. 9 - at NC State
Oct. 16 - at Florida State
Oct. 23 - MARYLAND
Oct. 30 - CLEMSON

Nov. 6 - at Wake Forest
Nov. 13 - at Duke
Nov. 20 - VIRGINIA
Nov. 27 - at Syracuse

More on this later. At first glance, the sched looks pretty front-loaded, but I do like that we don't leave Chestnut Hill until early October. I don't like the off week coming only 2 games into the season.

Leave your initial thoughts below.

Is Syracuse

going to become an annual thing? If so, I like that. The Orange seem like they’re going to get their stuff together under Marrone and that would be a nice addition to the ACC’s post-Thanksgiving rivalry week.

I think so.

BC and Syracuse are additionally scheduled from 2013 through 2021 (the Orange opted out of the 2011 and 2012 games).

It will be fun to renew the rivalry, especially with Marrone up there.

I like it

Should be favored in all our November games

But ...

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back ACC Atlantic Division games? Ouch.

If BC can navigate that stretch, might be able to wrap up a Division title by mid November.

MUCH better home schedule

Now I’m happy to be a BC season ticket holder. Also the guys who write this blog are the bees knees when it comes to tailgating. Looking forward to that too!
