The Andrew C. Marsh Fund Golf Tournament

Many longtime readers may know the story of our good friend and Boston College classmate Andrew Marsh, who passed away last summer after a 2.5 year battle with melanoma. To honor the memory of our dear friend, Andy’s family and friends are pleased to announce the first annual Andrew C. Marsh Fund Golf Tournament, to be held on August 5, 2010 at Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. All proceeds benefit the Andrew C. Marsh Memorial Fund going towards educational scholarships and the fight against cancer.

The August 5, 2010 event includes an 18-hole shotgun format golf tournament followed by a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner and dance. The event is open to all, and promises a crowd of 200-300 people ranging from local business owners and health care professional to friends and family across the country from the Cheverus High School, Boston College and Roger Williams Law School communities.

This is where we hope our Boston College community can help make this event a success.

If you are an avid golfer living in New England, come join us on the golf course to honor the memory of our friend. We hope to see BC well represented on the golf course.

If you aren't very good at golf (like Brian) and would like to attend the dinner, dance and silent auction, well, Maine is a beautiful vacation destination in August.

If you can’t make the event, we’d love if you or your organization would consider sponsoring a portion of the tournament or donating items for the silent auction.

Click here to download a brochure with the details of the event including sponsorship and registration information, as well as additional information about Andy and the Andrew C. Marsh Memorial Fund.

Donations to the fund can be made via Paypal or to the following address:

We hope you will be able to help us keep Andy’s legacy alive.

Ever to excel. Go Eagles!

Brian and Jeff
