Florida State vs. Boston College: What you need to know and a prediction (Chopping Block)
The Orlando Sentinel's Andrew Carter breaks down this weekend's matchup, complete with a haiku about the Eagles. Though "Shinskie and the Spaz" would make for a terrible, terrible band name.

Gut Reaction Prediction - FSU vs Boston College Eagles (Scalpem)
NoleCC thinks that Florida State will come out flat in this game, but will still come away with a 2 TD victory.

After Further Review: TomRob's updated Boston College preview (Chant Rant)
"As for this particular game, unless FSU is simply looking past BC, I can't see this being a very competitive game. The Eagles are fairly awful on offense and I just don't see them putting up many points. If they can run the ball and shorten the game, that helps their chances, but I just don't see BC scoring more than 10-20 points at best. As solid as the BC defense is, I can't imagine them holding the FSU offense to less than 24 points. I'm thinking a 31-10 type score in FSU's favor is probably in the cards."

There will be no easing Rettig into this one. Florida State's pass rush leads the nation with 26 QB sacks.

It's a mad, mad season so far (ESPN's Pat Forde)
Pat Forde going out on a limb here. He's not a believer in BC. "Streak in Jeopardy: Eleven straight winning seasons by Boston College (34). The Eagles are 2-3, with both wins over tomato cans and all three losses by at least 18 points. Even in a lackluster ACC, it's hard to find five more victories."

College Football Buffet, Week 7: Arkansas vs. Auburn, Ohio State vs. Wisconsin Are Must-Eats (SB Nation)
For this week's college football buffet, BC-Florida State has earned "I'll Taste It First" status. Moving on up in the world after Keeley passed on last week's BC-NC State game. In hindsight, I don't blame him.

Picks at the Wire: Week 7 (D1scourse)
"In the recent past, this would have been a perfect opportunity for Florida State to stumble. But with three conference victories in a row and the chance to head into the bye week halfway to the ACC's first 8-0 league record, look for the Seminoles to dispatch the offensively challenged Eagles."
