The Tigers thumped BC the first time around, winning 72-56 at Littlejohn Coliseum back on January 9. This time around, Clemson will be without the services of starting junior guard Demontez Stitt who suffered a mid-foot sprain in Clemson's January 16 game against NC State. Sophomore Andre Young will replace Stitt, making his first collegiate start.

Go Eagles!

Turnovers?

Turnovers early, but Sanders going to the basket early makes me happy. Trapani needs to finish when he catches it low.

We have been ok against the press so far, let’s hope it continues.

crowd is dead

havent seen too many crowd shots, and for good reason. Trapani shoots and scores. Hopefully he keeps the hot hand.

Got off to a bad start but crowd is already better than anytime during Maryland game

Concern

All 10 Clemson points scored in the paint.

Our press-

i like that our press slows down their offense, but really want to see us recover once they get the ball across half.

Who knew BC could press

Didn’t know they had it in them

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 7:22 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Even my wife didn’t know what was going on when BC was pressing

Second game in a row

Elmore making things happen

give courtney dunn credit too

Courtney Dunn alters the shot on the other end and should have had an assist

Down big or big lead

This team has given us every reason to be nervous until the clock hits 0:00

by Jeff Martyn on Jan 26, 2010 7:29 PM EST up reply actions

Playing with a lead ...

It’s character building!

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 7:31 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

The fact that Clemson is not as good a team without Stitt cannot be overstated

But still I think BC is playing well enough so far that they’d be leading even if he were healthy and in the lineup

by Jeff Martyn on Jan 26, 2010 7:47 PM EST reply actions

I beg to differ

I think that fact can be overstated

Maryland killing Miami

Safe to say Miami is a pretender this year

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 7:48 PM EST via mobile reply actions

But how good is Maryland?

Will be alone at #1 in ACC standings after their win

by Jeff Martyn on Jan 26, 2010 7:49 PM EST up reply actions

We will see

The Terps schedule is awfully backloaded

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 7:59 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

letting them back in this

we are letting them get some easy baskets. finish this half strong.

Commentators say we are generally a good ball handling team? Who is he watching.

Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson could rejuvenate conte….. he has that sean marshall/jared dudley type of energy, but less annoying. Home court advantage at Conte, next year?

by BCRaj on Jan 26, 2010 7:53 PM EST reply actions

We need some more students to start showing up Saturday for FSU game.

Duke and UNC games still left which will have good crowds regardless. FSU, VT, and UVA games are still questionable.

This is the team I remember

Lead back down to single digits

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 8:17 PM EST via mobile reply actions

jackson

take your ridilin. Calm down big fella.

by BCRaj on Jan 26, 2010 8:26 PM EST reply actions

trapani plays no help defense

i’m not happy with our team defense. No one steps up, we leave each other out to dry.

by BCRaj on Jan 26, 2010 8:27 PM EST reply actions

Defense in general has been terrible all half

First half wasn’t great either. Clemson just shot so poorly.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 8:31 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

im done with southern

serious liability on the court in every way.

and where’s sanders? re-aggravated injury?

by BCRaj on Jan 26, 2010 8:50 PM EST reply actions

Southern is the worst

Sanders was in foul trouble I thought.

by Brian Favat on Jan 26, 2010 10:30 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Thanks

Good luck the rest of the way. Hope we don’t see you in the Tourney.
