NO EXCUSES!!!!

Give me a break!! Absolutely NO excuses for BC losing to lowly "John Harvard" (Ivy League) (2) years in a row!! Perhaps my "alma mater", the Crusaders  of HC should rekindle its bitter rivalry; keep in mind HC brought NCAA basketball to New England many years ago until "Mr Basketball" the Cooz betrayed his "alma mater" to put BC on the map in the late 1960's. Without him BC would never gained national prominence!!!

Star-divide

Give me a break!!  Absolutely NO excuses for the Boston College Eagles basketball team to LOSE to the lowly Johnnies of "John Harvard" (2) years in a row especially on their HOME court!!

Perhaps my "alma mater" the Crusaders of Holy Cross who actually put New England basketball on the "national scene" way back in the 1950's & 1960's should consider rekindling its old rivalry. Up until the mid 1960's when "Mr. Basketball" the "Cooz" betrayed his "alma mater" and was named head coach at BC, Chestnut Hill was never able to compete with the powers including HC!!!

It is really sad to think that the "financial condition" of the Boston College athletic program is in such "poor condition" that it cannot even afford to send its "marching band" to another "no name" bowl ("Emerald Bowl) the day after XMas to face a pitiful USC football team.

Best of luck @ Durham, NC & Chapel Hill, NC!!!

Quotation mark explosion

This is like a transcript of a Dr. Evil explanation. “Just” “say” “no” “to” “sarcastic” “quotes.”

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode, The Dealership

Elaine: You couldn’t just give him one high-five?
Jerry: And where does it end? Then, everyone’s doing it. It’s like the wave at ballgames. Air quotes. The phrase, “Don’t go there.” Someone’s gotta take a stand!

No real talent

BC lacks an outstanding player this season. I was more suprised when they beat Miami than the loss to Harvard. They may be headed for a rough season. I can’t believe that Skinner didn’t bring in a single new recruit this year.
