Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Gator Bowl.

"The track record of Boston College fans traveling to ACC championship games and bowl games is so dismal that the Gator Bowl is likely not to give the Eagles much consideration in the final year of the ACC deal. Plus, if Notre Dame is invited, it would be a regular-season rematch, which bowls generally avoid.

However, Catlett didn’t rule out bringing Clemson back to Jacksonville for a second consecutive year."

Jacksonville: Once is enough

I don’t dislike Jax as much as most people, I think it’s worthwhile going to…but if you’ve been there once, once is enough.

I’ve been there once.

Why

Why wouldn’t they want a Notre Dame v BC rematch? The game was close, it’s a legit rivalriy and BC fans probably would travel for that.

BC fans would travel for ND rematch in Jacksonville

I’d bet as many would travel to Jacksonville for that game as would travel to Miami for the Orange Bowl if BC ever made it there. But the problem is that Clemson and Virginia Tech fans would probably also like a shot at Notre Dame even though there is no rivalry there for them.
