Boston College Eagles (5-2, 3-2 ACC) at Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-2)

Time: 3:30 EDT
Date: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009
Place: Notre Dame Stadium, South Bend, In.
TV: NBC
Spread: Boston College +7.5
Weather: Fog, winds gusting to 22mph, high 41 degrees

Huge weekend around here at BC Interruption. The hockey team started the weekend off right with a 3-2 victory over the Irish. ESPNChicago / ESPNBoston wrote an article about the Chicago game watches and the move to Trinity Bar. I move to Chicago and the BC game watches blow up. The media just follows me around. Seriously though, Jeff Nonnenkamp, Trinity and the game watch committee have done a great job of welcoming BC fans and creating a great gameday atmosphere here in Chicago. I'm nothing more than the scheduling guy for the game watch committee.

Jeff is in Austin participating in the Livestrong Challenge. Jeff is riding for Team Andy, in memory of our friend Andy Marsh. 90 miles on a bike ... wow. Best of luck to Jeff and all our BC family riding tomorrow in Austin.

I will be in South Bend for the game today. It looks like maybe we'll miss the rain for the first time this season. Fingers crossed. I will not be online during the game, but leave your thoughts below.

Use this post to 1) Wish Jeff luck in August 2) Talk about the game 3) Heckle Clemson as they play Miami -- you are all Hurricane fans today. We need Clemson to drop another ACC game and 4) Talk about the rest of the day's college football action.

Go Eagles!

Duke is beating Maryland 10-6 coming up the to the half. I picked Maryland, but can’t say i’m shocked.

This is not a good start

Rich Gunnell..

…finally has more catches than drop. Impressive TD, I thought he was going to drop it.

Jimmy Clausen

Nice touch by Jimmy after the game ! Shows what a classless place ND has become.

He's a bum.

A testament to how soft the Heisman class is this year with his name even being mentioned.

Your Heisman candidate not even on the field on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line. That says something.
