BC Men Ranked No. 24 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

Jeff had this one right, so he can now say "I told you so." The BC men's basketball team breaks into this week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll rankings, debuting at No. 24. BC previously had received 0 votes in either poll until this week.

The Eagles join Duke (2), North Carolina (3), Wake Forest (4) and Clemson (11) as ACC representatives in this week's poll.

[UPDATE] Eagles get love in this week's AP Poll as well, cracking the Top 25 for the first time this sesaon (and the first time since December 2007) at #17.

From the depths of the truly bizarre: "With 1:17 to go and BC holding a five-point lead, NESN’s coverage of the game was replaced with a string of commercials, leaving Eagles fans across the region wondering if their team was going to hang on." Here's the station's mea culpa. The game will be re-aired today at 1:00pm and at 8:00pm EST on NESN.
